When you get right down to it, we’re people that love our dogs, and want to find the best pet products for them. But that’s not all. We also want cool and new dog products, because like many of you, our dogs are members of the family. We want them to be outfitted in the coolest collars, try out the newest organic treat, and snuggle up on a stain-repelling dog bed.
The idea for Complete Dog really started when we needed interactive toys for our own active dogs, but could only find them on specialty sites. We ended up ordering things from all sorts of places and wondered why anyone hadn’t put them all in one place.
And, ta-da! Complete Dog was born. Our motto is essential, innovative, and extraordinary – the idea being that we know you need those essentials like flea/tick medicine, a new stainless steel bowl when the other one gets used as a toy, etc. But we also know that the discerning dog owner also wants the fun stuff. The fancy collars, or the newest innovative dog toy, the dog bed that won’t stain, or the tough tug that your dogs loves to try and tear up, and all those other products that you just can’t find at your local stores. And you want them in one place.
Complete Dog was founded in the basis that all dogs deserve the complete life – a loving home, a great family, and proper training. And we just want to make that life a little more complete.
We aren’t just pet products though. We are part of the dog community. We firmly believe that every dog deserves the life that our dogs are so fortunate to have. We work not only to improve your dogs’ lives, but also to get the message out about proper care, spay/neuter programs, and the detriment of puppy mills. We support rescue groups in our local area by volunteering and donating, and encourage you to do the same in your neighborhood.
Who are the dogs on the logo you ask? Well, those are the original Complete Dogs, Simon and Lizzie. The dogs that started it all. Simon’s an active Australian Shepherd that needs lots to do, and Lizzie’s our resident couch potato Westie that likes to look good while she’s lounging. They keep us honest and help us evaluate products so we know what’s good, and what’s not. And we wouldn't have it any other way.
